The Korean language has a wonderful way to express gratitude or acknowledge the positive outcome due to a certain cause: A/V + ㄴ 덕분에/ N + 덕분에.

It's the brighter counterpart to A/V + ㄴ 탓에, and it encapsulates the essence of:

Thanks to A/V/N... that (positive thing) happened....

Using 덕분에 is a means of recognizing the beneficial outcome of a particular action or situation.

Because I won the lottery, I was able to pay off all of my debts.
I was able to study at a good foreign university thanks to a scholarship.
