Korean Hanja For Convenience (便)

便 -- convenience, ease (he looks like he's leaning against a wall)

便 pronounced 편

남편 -- husband (男便)

편지 -- letter (便紙)

편의점 -- corner shop (便宜店)

우편 -- postal service

한편 -- one side

맞은편 -- the other side to, opposite

불편하다 -- to be inconvenient

便 pronounced 변

변기 -- toilet bowl


언제 마지막으로 손으로 쓰는 편지를 보냈어요?

When's the last time you sent a hand written letter?

가끔 한국에는 서로의 맞은편에 똑같은 두 편의점을 볼 수 있어요.

In Korea you sometimes see two identical corner shops opposite each other.
