도와주다 -- to give help

(to help + 아 + 주다)

어렸을 때 저는 어머니가 설거지 하는 것을 도와 주웠어요.

When I was young I helped my mother wash the dishes.

들려주다 -- to let [sb ] hear

(to hear + 여 + 주다)

저는 친구에게 새 노래를 들려 주었어요.

I played a new song to/for my friend.

알아주다 -- to recognise

(to know + 아 + 주다)

사람의 고심을 알아주는 것을 중요해요.

It's important to recognise people's hard work.

빌려주다 -- to lend [to sb ]

(to borrow + 여 + 주다)

저는 친구에게 핸드폰을 빌려 주었는데 일어 버렸어요.

I lent my friend my mobile phone, but he lost it.

돌려주다 -- to return, give back [to sb ]

(to turn, go round + 여 + 주다)

월요일까지 저에게 이 책을 돌려주어야 돼요.

You must return this book to me by Monday.
