A Few Ways To Say 'And' In Korean (그리고, Verb + 고, 그래서, 서)

The conjunctions 그리고/V + 고 and 그래서 can be used to link verbs and show cause-and-effect resepectively:

도착하다 - to arrive

도착하고 - to arrive and (do-)

학교에 도착했어요.  그리고 수업 준비를 했어요.

학교에 도착하고 수업 준비를 했어요.

I arrived at school and prepared for class. 오늘이 저는 쇼핑을 하고 공부하러 도서관 가요.

I did some shopping and went to the library to study. 제 친구들을 오고 우리는 영화를 봤어요.

My friends came and we watched a movie. 그래서: and so (100%)

서: and / and then/ and so V (casual) + 서: 도착해 +서 = 도착해서 학교에 도착했어요. 그래서 수업 준비를 했어요.

I arrived at school. So I prepared for class. 학교에 도착해서 수업 준비를 했어요.

I arrived at school and so (seeing as I was there) I prepared for class. 오늘 너무 피곤했어요. 그래서 집에서 잤어요.

Today I was very tired. So I rested at home. 오늘 너무 피곤해서 집에서 잤어요.

Today I was very tired and then I rested at home. 저는 매일 일찍 일어나서 운동해요.

Every day I wake up early and then exercise. 배고파서 점심 식사를 만들었어요.

I was hungry so I made lunch.
